London, 19 October 2023. — We are proud to announce that the Master of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists, Kerri Mansfield JC, will be attending the II International Charity Gala “Education for Sustainability” as special guest.
The Worshipful Company of Information Technologists, also known as the Information Technologists’ Company, is one of the most dynamic and influential livery companies of the City of London.
In 1992, the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists was granted livery status by the Court of Aldermen, and in 2010 it received its Royal Charter from HRH Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh.
The company has over 800 members – all currently or formerly senior practitioners in the information technology industry.
Prominent members of the company include Dame Stephanie Shirley, Sir Kenneth Oliza, Bill Gates, Tim Berners-Lee, Vint Cerf, Sherry Coutu, Tom Ilube, Mike Lynch, David Wootton, among many other influential people in the technology industry.
The company has a significant charitable and educational programme which uses the expertise, resources, and networks of its members, and it is also involved in a range of activities to promote the information technology profession. The company’s four pillars are Charity, Education, Community and Industry.
