FUTURED  JOINS COP29 IN BAKU TO REINFORCE ITS COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY

London, 7 November 2024 – FuturED will participate in the twenty-ninth edition of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 11 to 22 November 2024. This event is part of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which represents this year’s most important global climate summit.

During COP29, the 198 signatory countries of the convention will meet to discuss and agree on urgent strategies to curb climate change and adapt to its effects. In a context where environmental crises demand immediate and sustainable responses, COP29 is a key platform for world leaders to present and discuss effective policies.

Juan Francisco Dávila y Verdin, FRSA, founder and director of FuturED, will represent the organisation at this important event, in a sign of FuturED’s commitment to the fight against climate change.
