The Organising Committee of the IV International Education & Sustainability Gala is pleased to announce that H.E. Ambassador Iván Romero-Martínez, Ambassador of the Republic of Honduras to the United Kingdom and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in London, will be honoured during this year’s Gala in recognition of his outstanding lifetime contribution to diplomacy, international cooperation and public service.

With more than fifty years of distinguished diplomatic service, Ambassador Romero-Martínez has represented Honduras across Europe, the Americas and the Middle East, while also serving as Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York and Geneva, and as Ambassador to the European Union. His career reflects an unwavering commitment to dialogue, multilateralism and international understanding.

Organised by The FuturED Institute, with the support of the International Green Trade & Commerce Association (IGTCA), the Gala is an annual charitable event celebrating leadership in education, sustainability and international cooperation while raising funds to expand access to higher education through scholarships. In tribute to Ambassador Romero-Martínez’s commitment to public service, part of the proceeds from this year’s Gala will fund academic scholarships for Honduran students and professionals, helping create new educational opportunities and invest in the country’s future leaders.
